We livin here in America the land of opportunity
but i wish t'see Unity a collaboration of this nation
we should be embracin instead of racin against race

In my home town
not considered to be a violent village
but lookin back still makes me frown
grownin up with no privileges
and meaningless negative images
force fed down the throat of the only scape goat
the kid dressed clad in black
could do nothin to fight back
16 kids unimpressed by his intellect
took into their own power his life till he's undetected
instead of becoming his own flower
he wilted and soured
His inner light dull as flint
not a fucking hint to his impotent soul

Maybe you dont understand what im speaking of, but its simple enough
the life i lead fucked up my head but moshed on and toughed up
to move on and improve upon a vision started by one before him

who probably would have been better off with SIDS
